Women's Association
Women's Association of GTU is the representative of the third structure.It was registered in 1998, 30-th of September (N5a-9/86). Active work, that made Women's Council of GTU from 1974 to 1998, formulates Women's Association.
Women's Association of GTU is non-governmental, non- organization, which supports to develop civil society and to establish respect to law in Georgia.
Main directions of work of GTU Women's Association are:
- Populization of Humanitarian-Technical Scientific achievements, to which accommodates scientific conferences, seminars, exhibitions;
- Philanthropial work for Social Defenceless Stratums. (For 30years, it has been chief of Houses of Parents’ Care Diminished Children in: Kojori, Dzegvi, Aspindza, Marthkopi, Houses of mite-children in Tbilisi and others);
- Cultural-Educational work between collaborators and students: jubilee evenings, meetings with art representatives, painting and photo working exhibition of collaborators and children, resting evenings, New Year's and triumphal actions. Celebrate Children's International Day, excursions, collective assist on plays, their discussions;
- Make regional organizations and contact with other Women's organizations in the world, wide participation in peaceful movement.
