Foreign Relations
Georgian Technical University has close friendly and business contacts with well-known educational institutions, scientific centres and other international organizations, especially with the countries of Former Soviet Union as well as with the countries such as USA, Germany, France, England, China, India, Bulgaria, Poland and etc.
Since 1971 year, joint scientific works are successfully carried out in different trends of science.

Joint High Educational Institutions
Georgian-American Institute - was founded according to the agreement between Georgian Government and the National Academy of USA.
Caucasus School of Business - was founded in 1998 by a consortium of Tbilisi State University and Georgian Technical University in partnership with Georgia State University ( Atlanta, USA).
International German-Language Institute of Economics and Law.
International French-Georgian I nstitute of Informatics.
It s remarkable, that many GTU professors are elected as honorary doctors and members of foreign educational institutions and academies and also GTU has the tradition of electing the foreign scientists and public figures for honorary doctors of the Georgian Technical University.
