Golden Medal
The “Golden Medal” of the Technical University of Georgia is awarded to a citizen of Georgia or a foreign country who has made a special contribution to the development, recognition, and popularization of the Technical University.
Holders of the GTU “Golden Medal”
The award “Golden Medal” of the Georgian Technical University is granted, by the decision of the Academic Council of the University, on the basis of the Rector’s nomination.
The award and the corresponding certificate are ceremonially presented to the awarded person by the Rector of the Georgian Technical University.
Since its establishment — from 2022 to the present — 56 persons have been awarded the STU “Golden Medal”. Among them are citizens of both Georgia and foreign countries.
