International Architectural Student Competition “Future Tbilisi Today 2015” Tbilisi Development Foundation, with the support of the City Hall, “Peter Moennig” Foundation and “Tbilisi International Rotary Club”, announced the 2015 International Architectural Student Competition “Future Tbilisi Today 2015”. The goal of the competition is to actively involve students in the development of Tbilisi architecture and the capital, who are given the opportunity to present their ideas in an interesting way and create innovative and artistic projects in an architectural-urban-spatial context. Students participating in the competition have the opportunity to choose one of two directions: creating a concept for a public space (square, street, park, square, etc.) and a vision for the development of an abandoned/abandoned, ruined or completely destroyed place (e.g. old industrial buildings, non-functional buildings, ruins, old buildings in a state of disrepair). Historical and/or cultural buildings/monuments, etc.). Competition proposals will be accepted from September 1, 2015 to November 9, inclusive, until 18:00, at the A(A)I Tbilisi Development Fund, at the address: 48 Zubalashvili Brothers Street, second floor. On October 17-18, during the Tbilisoba holiday, with the participation of foreign experts and with the support of the Tbilisi City Hall, a workshop will be organized for interested students to clarify the directions for projects that have been developed to a certain stage. If students wish to participate in the workshop, they must register their projects in advance with the Tbilisi Development Fund, electronically, at the following address: info@tdf.ge. The results of the competition will be announced and the winning students will be awarded on November 23, St. George’s Day, with the presentation of the best projects. The competition terms and conditions can be found on the Tbilisi Development Fund website: http://www.tdf.ge/images/kallyas_images/docs/Konkurs01092015/PeterMoennigFund.pdf
