Ideas competition
“Leave no waste – take care of the environment” The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia, within the framework of the “Leave no waste – take care of the environment” campaign, offers a competition, participation in which will give you the opportunity to become a co-organizer of the campaign.
You – come up with an idea (event, activity) that will help raise public awareness about waste reduction. The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection – will help you implement the idea.
Competition conditions:
The competition “Do not leave waste – take care of the environment” is being held at the initiative and organization of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia.
Students from any faculty and course of the university can participate in the competition.
Students can participate in the competition both individually and as a team.
The winning student/team will be awarded a 500 GEL gift card (only one winner will be selected)
Representatives of universities of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia must provide information about the participants by October 10, 2014: student’s name, surname, personal number, ID card number, faculty, course number, student’s mobile number and e-mail address. Information should be provided to the following e-mail address: konkursi@moe.gov.ge (fill in the separately sent application form )
The competition will be held in 2 stages:
In the first stage – you must send us your ideas electronically. The work must be done in Power Point.
In the second stage, the presentation of the 5 best ideas will be held at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia, and the winner will be awarded.
On the day of the presentation, 1 winning team/student will be announced, who will be awarded a prize set by the Ministry – a 500 GEL gift card. The Ministry will also ensure the implementation of the winning idea (in case of finding appropriate budgetary funds from the Ministry).
The winner will be selected by a competent jury, which will be composed of ministry employees and independent individuals.
Please note:
Your idea (event, activity) will be implemented if it meets the following criteria: realistic; creative; innovative; raising public awareness about waste reduction; with a rational budget. (In case the Ministry finds appropriate budgetary funds, the project must be financially feasible). Otherwise, the Ministry reserves the right not to implement the idea you have provided.
The deadline for submitting competition ideas is October 27.
