Competition
Announcement: The Technical University Institute Techinform announces an open competition for the positions of heads of scientific structural units:
- Head of the Department of Analysis and Information Resources/Chief Scientific Officer (1 staff unit);
- Head of the Information Technology Development Department/Chief Scientific Officer (1 staff unit).
The competition is open to specialists in the field of scientific and technical information who have a doctorate or equivalent (Candidate of Sciences, Doctor) degree. The contestant must have at least 5 years of experience in the field. Those wishing to participate in the competition must attach the following to the competition application:
- A copy of the applicant’s ID card;
- Calendar autobiography (CV);
- A copy of the diploma confirming the academic degree relevant to the position to be held, or an equivalent degree;
- List of published scientific papers, including those published in the last 5 years;
- A copy of one scientific paper/article that, in the applicant’s opinion, best demonstrates his/her scientific potential/research skills;
- Vision for the development of the relevant structural unit (research problems, expected results, necessary resources, etc.);
- Contact information of 3 scientists in the relevant field who can recommend the applicant (name, surname, telephone number, e-mail);
- List of scientific grants and other supporting documentation related to scientific activities (preferred);
Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted from July 19, 2013 to August 20, 2013, until 1700. The results of the competition will be announced on August 29, 2013; applications are accepted at the Institute Techinform, every day, except weekends.
