Energy and Electrical Engineering

The aim of the programme:

• To provide the student with broad knowledge in modern technologies of production, transmission, distribution, consumption and transformation of thermal and electric energiesinto other energies, which includes general engineering education, design, installation, maintenance, testing and operation, economic and ecological aspects of thermal, hydro andelectric power plants, power stations and substations, electric machines and devices, electrotechnical materials, energy-efficient technologies and the elements and nodes includedin them;
• To develop engineering-practical skills to solve tasks and problems in industrial andcommercial enterprises, as well as to carry out installation, maintenance, repair, and faultdiagnosis of electrical wiring and electrical devices in household conditions;
• To equip graduates with competencies compatible with the requirements of the labor marketin the field of energy and create a basis for further education and professional development

Цель программы:

• Предоставить студенту широкие знания в области современных технологийпроизводства, передачи, распределения, потребления и преобразования тепловой иэлектрической энергии в другие виды энергии, что включает общеинженерноеобразование, учёт экономических и экологических аспектов, проектирования, монтажа,обслуживания, испытания и эксплуатациии тепло/гидро/электроэнергетическихустановок, электростанций и подстанций, электрических машин и аппаратов,электротехнических материалов, энергоэффективных технологий и входящих в их составэлементов и узлов;
• Развить инженерно-практические навыки для решения задач и проблем, имеющихся напромышленных и коммерческих предприятиях, а также для проведения монтажа,обслуживания, ремонта и диагностики неисправностей электропроводки иэлектротехнических устройств в бытовой сфере;
• Вооружить выпускников компетенциями, соответствующими требованиям рынка трудав области энергетики, и создать базу для их дальнейшего образования ипрофессионального развития
