Law and International Relations
The educational program aims to provide students with: knowledge of the history, ideas, culture, economy, law, institutional, governance systems, social processes and other areas of the leading European countries in the context of world-historical processes. Broad theoretical knowledge of the ideas, concepts, processes, regional and local approaches to the integration of European countries; complex knowledge and special training in the domestic and foreign policies of the leading European countries, legal systems and procedures, the development of their theoretical foundations, national and cooperation policies, complex processes of development and integration of the European Union, the importance of European identity and European citizenship, the policy of developing institutions and decisions, the characteristics of political culture, the specifics of the political process. The aim of the Bachelor’s degree program in European Studies is to develop in the student: the ability to pay attention to various new processes taking place in European countries, to perceive their relevance, and to constantly update and learn knowledge. The skills necessary for independently solving institutional problems of the European Union, assessing problems, analyzing, reasoning, justifying, and solving tasks; the ability to strive for professional ethics and the values of European integration; the culture of protecting justice, social, and democratic values in practical activities in the field of European integration.
