Organic Agriculture

The purpose of the program – the purpose of the program is to train the qualified personnel necessary for the development of organic agriculture in the agrarian field, who will be able to be employed in the modern growing competitive environment based on the acquired scientific knowledge. The student should learn the theoretical and practical issues of the field, which will be focused on research and necessary for specialists working in the mentioned field. For the production of ecologically clean products of horticulture and animal husbandry, for the organization and management of the organic agriculture system along the agrarian line, for the protection and preservation of the unique biological diversity of Georgia in accordance with the existing standards, for the implementation of scientific and research methods using diverse methodological approaches, for the minimization of pollution accompanying agricultural activities.
