“Matsumae International Foundation” – 2025 Scholarship Programme for Foreign Researchers

The Matsumae International Foundation announces a call for applications for its 2025 scholarship programme for foreign researchers.

One of the mandatory eligibility requirements for the programme is holding a PhD degree. Applicants must have proficiency in English or Japanese. In addition, after completing the programme, the researcher must return to their home country.

The Japanese side will cover the successful applicants’ research-related expenses, as well as the costs of relevant study materials, accommodation, round-trip airfare, and health insurance.

Applications for the scholarship programme are accepted from 1 April to 30 June 2024 (Japan Standard Time).
