Technical University of Ostrava – Global Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 2024

The Faculty of Safety Engineering of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava (Ostrava, Czech Republic) announces a call for applications for the Global Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 2024 (Global Postdocs Fellowships 2024).

Postdoctoral researchers (early-career scientists) are offered the opportunity to carry out research for 24–36 months at the Faculty of Safety Engineering of VŠB-TUO within the Moravian-Silesian regional grant, in areas such as occupational health and safety, toxicology, risk management, fire safety, explosion safety, and related fields.

The scholarship amounts to approximately EUR 4,200 per month. The workload is 32–40 hours per week, and an internship in a relevant company is included.

Applicants must hold a PhD degree and have no more than eight years of research experience since the defence of their dissertation.
