Biography
Tamar Tsereteli was born on April 14, 1975.
Education
She graduated from the Georgian Technical University, where she obtained a qualification as an economist in the field of International Economic Relations (1992–1996).
In 1999, she was awarded a Master’s degree. In 2014, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation and obtained an academic Doctor’s degree in Energy and Electrical Engineering.

Work experience
Since 2009, she has been engaged in academic and teaching activities at Georgian Technical University, initially holding the position of assistant. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Power Engineering.
At various times, she has also led the Educational Process Management Group and a department of the university. Since March 19, 2024, she has been serving as Vice-Rector of Georgian Technical University.
Tamar Tsereteli is the author of two textbooks and 15 scientific publications. Her research interests include contemporary challenges in the field of energy, improvement of education quality, and mechanisms for student support.
As Vice-Rector, Tamar Tsereteli contributes to the development of the university’s educational and academic processes, promotes the improvement of teaching and research quality, and supports the institutional development of the university. Her work is aimed at strengthening the academic environment and ensuring compliance with modern educational standards.
