From Idea to Real Startup – Masterclass at GTU
On April 1st, the Georgian Technical University, organized by the Office of Technology and Grant Projects, hosted a masterclass – “How to Turn an Idea into a Real Startup”.
The event was led by Shalva Otanadze, a recognized expert in the field, who shared with the participants practical aspects of creating and developing a startup. The conversation touched on the formation of entrepreneurial thinking, the development of ideas, and their rapid validation in the market. The meeting was characterized by high activity.
Instead of the standard lecture format, the process was conducted in a question-and-answer and debate mode. The audience had the opportunity to discuss their own initiatives with the expert, receive critical feedback, and discuss the challenges that start-up entrepreneurs face in the modern market. Along with the theoretical part, the master class included practical work, where participants performed business modeling exercises based on real cases.
The event was summarized by Giorgi Mikiashvili, Head of the Technology and Grant Projects Office. “It is very good that a meeting of this format was held, which was accessible not only to students, but also to all interested parties. The Technology and Grant Projects Office will maximally facilitate such initiatives, because our goal is to support innovations and create the necessary platforms,” said Giorgi Mikiashvili.
