The Central Scientific Library of the Georgian Technical University was founded in 1922. Its collection is one of the largest in Georgia, comprising 2,224,357 items, including 1,697,759 books and 526,767 periodicals. Some unique publications (9th–20th centuries) are preserved exclusively in the Central Scientific Library of GTU
