Since 2013, Georgian Technical University has been participating in the Inclusive Vocational Education project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The project aims to increase access to vocational education for persons with special educational needs or disabilities and to tailor the educational process to their individual abilities, interests, and needs.

Persons with disabilities have the opportunity to register for their desired programs. Following an assessment by a multidisciplinary team, if the applicant is recognized as having special educational needs, they can engage in alternative vocational skills trials. After completing these stages, the applicant is enrolled in the chosen vocational education program.
