On April 27, at 13:00, the Georgian Technical University Tutoring and Mentoring Center will organize a training for professors – “Self-Evaluation and Emotional Intelligence in Mentoring.”

The meeting aims to help teachers understand the importance of emotional intelligence in the teaching process and the role of self-assessment. Participants will receive practical recommendations that will help establish effective communication with students.

The meeting will discuss:

  • The importance of emotional intelligence;
  • Self-assessment as a basis for professional development;
  • The use of emotional intelligence in the learning and mentoring process;
  • The role of a mentor in effective communication and student support;
  • Practical recommendations and examples

The meeting will be interactive, providing participants with the opportunity to engage in discussions, share their experiences, and receive practical advice.

The training will be held in auditorium 410 of Building 9 of the Georgian Technical University by speaker Nana Aleksidze, Doctor of Educational Sciences, PhD candidate in Applied Psychology, psychologist, psychotherapist, and associate professor.

Attendance is recommended for all teachers interested in modern approaches to mentoring and developing effective relationships with students.
