Vocational qualification awarded: Secondary Vocational Qualification in Event Management
Program Objective: The objective of the vocational program is to prepare event management specialists for the local labor market. Within their competence, graduates will be able to plan, coordinate, and organize various types of events. Specifically, specialists will be able to develop event concepts, coordinate and plan activities, prepare business proposals, manage finances, process orders, work in teams, communicate with stakeholders, ensure technical setup, and monitor safety measures. Graduates will be equipped with both professional and general (transferable) skills and will perform their duties in accordance with professional ethics, labor, and safety standards.
Program Volume and Duration:
For Georgian-speaking students:
- Volume: 61 credits
- Duration: 40 academic weeks
For non-Georgian-speaking students:
- Volume: 91 credits
- Duration: 62 academic weeks
Admission prerequisite: Full general education
Employment Opportunities: Graduates may work as wedding planners, conference and event organizers in public and private sectors, including governmental institutions, event centers, tourism companies, cultural and sports associations, and federations. They may also be self-employed.
