GTU Expresses Condolences to the Family of the Tragically Deceased Student
The Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Academician David Gurgenidze, on behalf of the university community, expresses deep sorrow over the tragic death of third-year student Saba Metreveli and extends condolences to the young man’s family, relatives, and friends.
“The Georgian Technical University has suffered another grave loss. A 21-year-old young man, a third-year student in the Bachelor’s Program in International Relations at the Faculty of Law and International Relations of our university – the kind, talented, exceptionally sociable, and kind-hearted Saba Metreveli, a resident of the Kareli municipality – tragically passed away.
We express our condolences to the family of Saba Metreveli, his friends, and relatives. We sympathize with the students of the Faculty of Law and International Relations, professors and teachers, and we will keep the name of our student as an unhealed wound”, is said in the Georgian Technical University’s condolence message.
