On June 10th, at 03:00 p.m., the fifth public lecture of the project “Energy Wednesdays for All” will be held in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Power Engineering.
The title of the topic is: “Creation, development of relay protection and modern digital relays”.
The speaker of the fifth lecture is Associate Professor Malkhaz Dvalidze and anyone can attend!
We would like to remind you that the faculty administration of Power Engineering at the Georgian Technical University started the public lecture series “Current Issues of Modern Energy” on May 13th and will continue until June 24th.
On July 14-15, the Faculty of Construction of the Georgian Technical University will organize the 9th international conference of students on the topic: “Innovative Technologies in Engineering”.
The conference is dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the declaration of Christianity as the state religion.
July 14th will be dedicated to bachelor students, where they will present reports on current developments in the field. On July 15th, master’s and doctoral students will present their articles, which must reflect the research issues they are working on.

On June 3rd, at 03:00 p.m., the fourth public lecture will be held in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Power Engineering. The topic of the fourth lecture is “Integration of Renewable Energy into the Grid”.
This time, the speaker of the lecture is Associate Professor Tornike Apriashvili and anyone who wishes can attend it.

On May 29, at 03:00 p.m., Professor Tiziano Camporesi of the Department of Engineering Physics of the Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems of GTU will hold a public lecture on the topic – “Large Hadron Collider at CERN: Why and How”.
The lecture will be held remotely via Zoom.

The topic of the third lecture is “Electromagnetic Radiation from High-Voltage Power Lines and Its Impact on Human Health”.
This time, the speaker will be Professor Tengiz Museliani and anyone can attend – students, graduates, professors, or other people interested in the field.
We would like to remind you that from May 13th to June 24th, the administration of the Faculty of Power Engineering of the Georgian Technical University is holding a public lecture series – “Current Issues in Modern Energy”.
The lecture series includes 7 public lectures and a certificate will be issued at the end of the course (for which the student must attend at least 5 meetings).
On May 20-21, a practical training seminar will be held in auditorium 410, building 9 of the Georgian Technical University, organized by the Technology and Grant Projects Office, which will be dedicated to the specifics of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation grant competitions, the process of preparing a grant application, as well as both the content and technical requirements of the project.
The goal of the training is for participants to analyze, based on real examples:
- What types of errors and shortcomings lead to low evaluation of project applications submitted to the Fund;
- How to formulate a competitive project;
- What technical details are necessary for successful registration
The training seminar is intended for academic staff, researchers, and doctoral students who plan to participate in the competitions of the Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation.
Participation is especially recommended for those who have already prepared or submitted a project application, as the practical format of the training will help them analyze existing gaps and improve the project.

On May 20th, at 15:00 p.m., the second lecture within the framework of the public lecture series – “Single-phase short-circuit signal registration, transformations and analysis” will be held in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Power Engineering.
The speaker of the second public lecture will be Malkhaz Kvrivishvili, who will speak about modern approaches to analyzing electrical systems’ fault modes and signal processing methods.
The lecture will be open to all interested persons – students of the Faculty of Power Engineering, young researchers and listeners interested in modern energy systems.

On May 20, at 12:00 p.m., a scientific forum – “Modern Trends in the Digital Technologies Development” will be held in the conference hall of the Niko Muskhelishvili University Library of the Georgian Technical University.
The event, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of Academician Gocha Chogovadze, is being held at the initiative of the Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems, Department of Software Engineering (Department of Automated Control Systems) and the UNESCO Chair.
On July 25-28, in the conference hall of the Georgian Technical University Central Library, the traditional 13th International Scientific and Technical Conference of the Tsotne Mirtskhulavava Institute of Water Management on the topic – “Modern Problems of Water Management, Environmental Protection, Architecture and Construction” will be held, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.
Scientists, experts and young specialists from different countries of the world will participate in the conference.
