Vocational qualification awarded: Secondary Vocational Qualification in Wood Artistic Processing
Program Objective: The objective of the vocational education program in artistic wood processing is to prepare a qualified specialist who is capable of selecting the appropriate machinery, tools, and materials required for artistic woodwork; creating sketches and technical drawings; designing wooden furniture using computer graphic software; performing artistic wood carving based on sketches; producing wooden furniture and decorative items in compliance with safety standards; and restoring damaged wooden furniture.
Program Volume and Duration:
For Georgian-speaking students:
- Volume: 86 credits
- Duration: 58 weeks
For non-Georgian-speaking students:
- Volume: 116 credits
- Duration: 80 weeks
Admission prerequisite: Full general education
Employment Opportunities: Graduates may be employed in furniture manufacturing enterprises, artistic and decorative woodwork studios, workshops producing wooden household items and interior accessories, wickerwork workshops, or may be self-employed/individual entrepreneurs.
