Vocational qualification awarded: Secondary Vocational Qualification in Quality control of building materials

Program Objective: The objective of the vocational education program is to develop and implement a program that prepares a competitive workforce for both local and international labor markets.

Program Volume and Duration:

For Georgian-speaking students:

  • Volume: 90 credits
  • Duration: 70 academic weeks

For non-Georgian-speaking students:

  • Volume: 120 credits
  • Duration: 92 academic weeks

Admission prerequisite: Full general education

Employment Opportunities: A construction materials quality control specialist may be employed in civil, industrial, and hydraulic engineering construction projects. They may be self-employed or work in various construction and renovation companies, as well as in public or private institutions involved in building and road construction, reconstruction, reinforcement, and rehabilitation. Graduates may also work in construction materials laboratories. The job may involve working in different climatic conditions, both indoors and outdoors, including at heights.
