Vocational qualification awarded: Secondary Vocational Qualification in Freight Forwarding

Program Objective: The objective of the vocational education program is to prepare a competitive workforce for the freight transportation sector. Graduates will be able to complete transport documentation; plan cargo transportation; identify different types of transport and select the appropriate one; work effectively in teams; supervise, monitor, and evaluate transportation processes; process orders; and organize loading and unloading operations. They will perform their duties in compliance with professional ethics, labor, and safety standards. In addition, graduates will be equipped with both professional and general (transferable) skills.

Program Volume and Duration:

For Georgian-speaking students:

  • Volume: 90 credits
  • Duration: 64 academic weeks

For non-Georgian-speaking students:

  • Volume: 120 credits
  • Duration: 86 academic weeks

Admission prerequisite: Full general education

Employment Opportunities: Graduates may be employed in freight forwarding and transport-logistics companies, customs and transport service enterprises, transport-logistics associations, shipping and forwarding companies, trade and logistics complexes, procurement and intermediary firms, large distribution companies of finished products, logistics and distribution centers, customs terminal complexes, and brokerage firms.
