Vocational Qualification Awarded: Basic Vocational Qualification in Print Media Technologies

Program Objective: The goal of the professional program is to prepare a qualified, practical, competitive specialist in the field of print media technologies who will be able to perform the main functions characteristic of the profession. In particular, the production of various printed products (magazines, letterheads, brochures, books, booklets, flyers, stickers, posters, labels, packaging materials, etc.) according to originals received from organizations (e.g., publishing houses).

Program volume and Duration.

For Georgian-speaking students:

  • Volume: 90 credits
  • Duration: 61 weeks

For non-Georgian speaking students:

  • Volume: 105 credits
  • Duration: 72 weeks

Admission prerequisite: Basic general education

Employment opportunities: A graduate can find employment as a binder, printer in various types of specialized enterprises: printing houses, advertising companies, publishing houses, magazine and newspaper editorial offices, design, scientific and educational institutions that publish various printed products. Self-employment is also possible.
