International Workshop At GTU – Professor Yuval Garini From An Israeli University Will Conduct A Seminar For Students

From March 16-20, An International Workshop In The Field Of Biophysics (Advanced Biophysics) Will Be Held At Georgian Technical University, Led By Professor Yuval Garini From Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, One Of The World’s Leading Universities In Science And Engineering. The University Consistently Ranks Among The Top Global Institutions And Is The Alma Mater Of Several Nobel Prize Laureates.

Professor Garini Is A Recognized Expert In The Physical Principles Of Biological Systems, Specializing In Genome Dynamics And Single-Molecule Biophysics.

The Workshop Is Organized With The Support Of Dr. Pilkhaz M. Nanikashvili From Bar Ilan Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (BINA), Whose Collaboration Has Played A Significant Role In Strengthening Academic Cooperation Between Our Institutions.

The Five-Day Workshop Will Be Conducted In English And Will Explore In Depth How The Laws Of Physics And Computational Models Explain Complex Biological Systems, Including DNA, RNA, And Proteins.

The Curriculum Covers Fundamental Topics Such As The Scales Of Biological Systems, Random Walk And Diffusion Equations, Polymer Physics, And Protein Folding.

This Interdisciplinary Workshop Is Designed For Students With A Strong Foundation In Basic Mathematics And Physics Who Wish To Become Familiar With World-Class Research Methodologies And Learn How The Laws Of Physics And Mathematical Formalism Explain The Behavior Of Biological Systems.

Students From Other Accredited Universities In Georgia May Also Attend The Event.

Interested Applicants Must Complete Prior Registration To Attend The Workshop. The Registration Deadline Is March 1.

Upon Successful Completion Of The Workshop, Participants Will Receive A Certificate Issued In The Name Of Technion – Israel Institute of Technology And Georgian Technical University.
