Biography

Elene Kalatozishvili is a Senior Research Fellow at the GTU Food Industry Research Institute. Her research interests are alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; she studies the rational use of winemaking products and the improvement of wine and chacha production technologies. She has taken part in research on obtaining extracts rich in biologically active compounds from winemaking waste and is a co-author of a patent for a method of stimulating plant growth. She is a member of the GTU Representative Council.
