Biography

Giorgi Gigineishvili is a professor at the Faculty of Power Engineering of Georgian Technical University and a chief researcher at the Archil Eliashvili Institute of Control Systems. He graduated with honours from the Faculty of Power Engineering of the Georgian Polytechnic Institute in 1986 and has worked at the university since then. In 2003 he was awarded the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the speciality “Theoretical Foundations of Heat Engineering”. His research interests are convective and phase-change heat transfer processes and renewable energy. In 2020 he was elected a full member of the Georgian Academy of Energy.
