Biography

Givi Goletiani is a professor and the faculty manager of the Faculty of Transportation Systems and Mechanical Engineering of Georgian Technical University, and a member of the GTU Academic Council. He graduated from the Georgian Polytechnic Institute in 1972 as a mechanical engineer and defended his candidate dissertation at the Odessa Technological Institute of the Food Industry. In 1972–1980 he worked at a research institute as a researcher. At the Technical University he was a docent and associate professor, and has been a professor since 2013.
