Biography

Marine Mardashova is a hydrogeologist, professor and researcher at the Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology of Georgian Technical University. She heads the master’s programme in geology and serves as secretary of the dissertation council. Her research covers groundwater dynamics, slope stability assessment, water supply, the hydrogeochemistry of mineral waters and environmental impact assessment. She is the author of 7 textbooks, 2 monographs and more than 60 scientific articles. In 2020–2022 she was president of the Georgian National Group of the International Association of Hydrogeologists.
