It is a platform of the English-Dutch publishing house Elsevier, providing online access to nearly 2,200 academic journals and 25,000 e-books. The journals are grouped into four main sections: Physical Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Humanities. Most abstracts are freely available, while full-text access (in PDF and HTML formats) requires a subscription.

Scopus is a premier abstract and citation database covering scientific research for searching, monitoring, analyzing, and visualizing bibliometric mechanisms. The database includes over 22,800 peer-reviewed journals from more than 5,000 international publishers, covering fundamental, interdisciplinary, educational, technical, medical, and humanities fields. Scopus contains records from 1788 onwards and over 1.4 billion cited references since 1970.

• Cambridge Journals Online covers the fields of humanities and social sciences, including astronomy, mathematics, physics, chemistry, geography, history, linguistics, philosophy, politics, law, management, sociology, psychology, arts, media, and communication.

Web of Science, owned by American corporation Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thompson Reuters until 2016), is a search platform that combines scientific publication and patent citation databases, encompassing inter-cited materials. Web of Science covers the broadest range of scientific, technical, social, humanities, and cultural spheres. It offers capabilities for searching, statistical analysis, and managing bibliographic information.

• EDWARD ELGAR presents journals focused on humanities and economics. The books cover topics such as public and social governance, corporate governance, migration, infrastructure development, and intellectual property research.

• Open Access Database of Medical and Biological Data.

• Directory of Open Access Journals is a high-quality, peer-reviewed open-access journals online catalog.

• OpenEdition Journals hosts French-language journals focused on humanities and social sciences. It also features an English-language interface. Articles are available in small quantities in parallel publications in English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.

• Open Access Electronic Books Database. Catalog of peer-reviewed books indexed with the first source.
