“Energy Open Space” – A new project has been launched at the Faculty of Power Engineering
A new educational and scientific project – “Energy Open Space” – has been launched at the Faculty of Power Engineering at the Georgian Technical University. The initiator of the project is Professor Ketevan Kutateladze, Dean of the Faculty, and the supporter is Rector Academician David Gurgenidze.
“Energy Open Space” aims to familiarize students, young researchers, and the public interested in the field with current issues of modern energy, promote professional discussion, and strengthen the connection between science and practice.
According to the Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering, a series of public lectures is planned within the framework of the project, which will continue until the end of the semester and will bring together leading scientists, researchers, and practicing specialists from various fields. According to Professor Ketevan Kutateladze, the first public lecture was held by Professor Giorgi Arziani on the topic “Assessment of invisible risks of electrical energy quality in modern electrical systems”.
“Energy Open Space” is a new educational project of our faculty, with the goal of sharing modern knowledge and professional experience with students, young scientists, and the public interested in the field of energy. “Energy Open Space” will provide students and researchers with the opportunity to communicate directly with professionals in the field, learn about modern technological trends, and participate in current scientific discussions. It is important for us that the university is a space where discussions about the future of energy, technological development, and challenges in the field are constantly taking place. Professor Giorgi Arziani’s lecture discussed the challenges and risks arising from the functioning of modern electrical systems, which directly affect the quality of energy supply, system reliability, and energy efficiency.”
