Attention to Students Transferring to GTU Through Autumn External Mobility for the 2026–2027 Academic Year!

A person wishing to transfer via mobility, who has registered on the electronic portal of the management information system www.students.emis.ge (deadlines: from August 24 to September 8, 2026 inclusive) and has obtained the right to transfer to GTU via mobility, must immediately apply to GTU.

Starting from the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year, applications for students eligible for mobility enrollment in GTU educational programs will be accepted:

September 11 – 16, 2026 inclusive (excluding weekends), from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.;

Address: 77 Kostava Street; Administrative Building; 3rd Floor; Room 334.

Please note:

  • In accordance with Resolution No. 212 of the Government of Georgia of May 20, 2026, admission to undergraduate educational programs in the full-time mode is permitted only if it is possible to recognize at least 45 credits for the student.
  • In the event that the faculty has modified the bachelor’s programs to a 180-credit format, and the 240-credit curriculum remains for existing students, the student will be offered an educational program of the appropriate volume based on the number of credits accumulated by him/her;
  • Within the framework of the fall mobility of the 2026-2027 academic year, taking into account the interests of students, students should be admitted to master’s degree programs in the existing 120-credit master’s degree educational programs in their current form before modification.

A student wishing to enroll through mobility must submit the following documents:

  1. Copy of ID card;
  2. Copy of military conscription certificate (for boys);
  3. Student’s academic record (report card) from the graduating university with a certified seal;
  4. Certified copies of all orders from the graduating university regarding the student (initial enrollment; suspension/restoration/termination of status);
  5. Document recognizing education obtained in a foreign country (if any);
    • Bachelor’s degree – a copy of the secondary education certificate;
    • Master’s degree student – a copy of the bachelor’s diploma or equivalent document;
    • Doctoral student – ​​a copy of the master’s diploma or equivalent document.

Educational programs for which interviews are being held:

Applicants for mobility in the Bachelor’s degree programs of the Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design (Bachelor’s degree program “Architecture”; Russian-language Bachelor’s degree program “Architecture”; Bachelor’s degree program “Fashion Design Technologies”;) must undergo an interview, which will be held on August 27 and September 8, 2026, from 1200 to 1700 hours;

  • Address: Tbilisi; Kostava N68, GTU Building I, 4th floor, room 408.

Applicants for mobility to the Bachelor’s degree programs at the International School of Design (English-language Bachelor’s degree program “Design”) must undergo an interview, which will be held on September 7, 2026, at 12:00;

  • Address: Tbilisi; 75 Kostava Street, GTU Building VIII; 2nd floor; Room 4

The documentation submitted by those wishing to enroll in master’s and doctoral programs through mobility will be accepted taking into account the prerequisites for admission to the relevant master’s and doctoral programs.

The relevant faculty will inform the person seeking mobility about the credits counted and the academic year determined on this basis no later than September 18, 2026;

The applicant for mobility is obliged to familiarize himself with the conclusion and on the same day, express his consent or refusal to move to GTU on a mobility basis in writing. Otherwise, the university reserves the right not to consider the issue of his enrollment in GTU on a mobility basis without prior notification.

Please note:

The receipt of documents and the application for approval/rejection regarding the transfer to GTU must be made personally by the applicant or by a person authorized by him/her based on a notarized power of attorney;

The order on mobile enrollment at GTU will be issued no later than October 1, 2026;

A student enrolled in GTU on a mobility basis signs an academic and financial agreement with the faculty after the order is issued.
