The Rector of Georgian Technical University, Academician Davit Gurgenidze, on behalf of the university community, congratulates Boris Bokolishvili, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, former Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and recipient of the Order of Honor, on his 90th birthday, wishing him good health, longevity, and peace and happiness in his family life.

Dear Mr. Bokolishvili,

On behalf of the academic community of Georgian Technical University, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on your 90th birthday!

Your life and professional achievements are an integral part of our university’s history. It was here that you began your journey as a student, progressed from assistant to dean, and dedicated decades of your life to educating generations of Georgian engineers. Your sixteen years of leadership as Dean coincided with one of the most difficult periods in our country’s history. Yet, even during those challenging times, you succeeded in maintaining stability, a productive working environment, and a culture of care and respect for students and colleagues within the faculty.

Through your initiative, existing academic specializations were modernized and new ones introduced, while the preparatory department established in Bodbe and Tsnori opened the doors of higher education to young people from the Kiziki region. Your integrity, dedication, and genuine warmth toward others continue to serve as an example to thousands of graduates and colleagues.

Once again, I sincerely congratulate you on this remarkable milestone and wish you good health, a long and fulfilling life, and many joyful moments surrounded by your large family, friends, and former students.
