GTU Students Met With Representatives of the Bank of Georgia
Students of the Faculty of Business Technologies of Georgian Technical University met with representatives of the Bank of Georgia and from them received information about career development opportunities.
The meeting, which was organized by the Career Development Department of the University’s Educational Process Management Service and with the active involvement of the Faculty of Business Technologies, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Rusudan Kutateladze, professors and head of the Career Development Department, Associate Professor Nato Katamadze, and from the Bank of Georgia – Eto Kobalia, Head of the Selection Service for Mass and Operational Positions, and Tamar Chanturishvili, Head of the Communications Training and Development Service.
Dean of the Faculty Rusudan Kutateladze introduced the Head of the University’s Career Development Department and representatives of the Bank of Georgia to the students, and spoke to the young people about university initiatives on career development and future employment; she also explained the purpose of the visit of the Bank of Georgia representatives.
Nato Katamadze spoke extensively about career growth opportunities and future employment prospects for students of the Georgian Technical University and called on young people to be active and cooperate with the service. The head of the Career Development Department provided students with information about the long-standing partnership between the Georgian Technical University and the Bank of Georgia, which has a positive impact on the career development of the youth.
“Our main task is to enable students to easily find the vacancies they want, which we facilitate in the process of meeting with various qualified employers. Additionally, through training and seminars, we want to develop the skills necessary for the youth in the communication process with employers. The Bank of Georgia is one of the leading organizations in the banking industry. We have had a partnership with them for many years, and it’s also confirmed by a memorandum of cooperation. We conduct many activities together, and all of them are planned considering the students’ interests. This is precisely the goal and mission of our service. Thank you to the Bank of Georgia for currently trying to offer our students active vacancies with favorable working conditions,” said

The Bank Representatives introduced the students to active vacancies at the Bank of Georgia, talked about internship programs and the benefits that the bank promises to interested individuals, and shared information about career opportunities and professional development paths that the Bank of Georgia offers to potential employees.
The meeting continued in an interactive mode. The guests answered the youth’s questions and shared practical advice on increasing their professional capabilities. At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Bank of Georgia presented the students with symbolic gifts.
