Memorandum Signed Between GTU and “Global Cell”

The Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Professor Tamar Tsereteli, and the Director of “Global Cell LLC”, Giorgi Maduashvili, signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The partnership aims to expand access and availability to international telecommunications services for students of the Georgian Technical University through various joint projects, educational initiatives, and special programs. Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties will cooperate to introduce modern technologies, expand practical and professional development opportunities for students and academic staff, and implement joint educational and innovative projects.

According to the Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, the agreement will increase the university community’s involvement in the international digital and telecommunications space, improve access to modern services, and further enhancing the educational process. As Professor Tamar Tsereteli noted, the memorandum is intended to deepen cooperation and create new opportunities for the practical and professional development of students and academic staff.

“It is especially important for the Georgian Technical University to establish partnerships that bring the educational environment even closer to the modern technological landscape. The memorandum signed with “Global Cell” serves this purpose precisely and represents another significant step in the university’s strategic development.

Today, the quality of higher education is determined by the opportunities a university offers its students and staff in terms of access to modern technologies, international practices, and digital resources. Cooperation with “Global Cell” will expand access to world-class telecommunications services for our university community and create new opportunities for teaching, research, and professional development.

The joint projects, educational initiatives, and special programs planned under the memorandum will significantly strengthen cooperation between the university and the private sector. We attach particular importance to creating an environment in which students have the opportunity to explore modern technological trends, develop practical skills, and gain experience that will help them become competitive specialists in the international labor market.”
