A Training for Teachers Was Organized by the GTU Tutoring and Mentoring Center


On April 27, the event held in Building 9 of GTU was attended by teachers and mentors of the university.

The training was led by an expert in the field, Doctor of Educational Sciences, psychologist, psychotherapist, and associate professor, Nana Aleksidze.

As part of the training, the participants discussed in detail:

  • Emotional Intelligence in the Learning Process: How Managing Emotions Helps Teachers Communicate Effectively with Students and Manage Their Audiences;
  • The Impact of Self-Esteem on Mentoring: How Important a Mentor’s Personal Stability and Self-Perception Are for a Successful Educational Process;
  • Practical Tools: Psychological Techniques That Will Help Teachers Manage Stress and Maintain Motivation in Their Everyday Work.

The training was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to engage in discussion and receive professional advice on specific cases.

One of the priorities of the Tutoring and Mentoring Center is to strengthen the mentoring system at the university, which directly affects the quality of teaching and relations with students.
