Students Met With “Nikora Trade” Representatives
Students of the Georgian Technical University met with representatives of the “Nikora Trade” talent attraction and selection team.
The meeting was organized by the Career Development Department of the GTU Learning Process Management Service, with the aim of introducing the company’s activities, professional directions, and employment opportunities to students.
As part of the event, members of the “Nikora Trade” selection team introduced the young people to the areas of the company where employment is possible in detail, as well as discussed career development prospects and the skills needed to succeed in the modern labor market.
According to the head of the Career Development Department of the Georgian Technical University Learning Process Management Service, the university is actively working to deepen partnerships with both the private sector and various state and international organizations.
As Associate Professor Nato Katamadze states, the university’s goal is to provide students with a variety of career development options, including internship programs and work experience, as well as career seminars and training.
“Cooperation between the Georgian Technical University and the business sector is crucial for the professional development of students and their successful integration into the labor market. Such meetings offer young people a unique opportunity to become acquainted with the activities of companies that are actively engaged in the country’s economy and gain a deeper understanding of the labor market’s real demands.
Such initiatives help students not only determine their career path but also identify their strengths and develop skills that are particularly important in the modern employment environment, be it professional knowledge, practical experience, or communication and teamwork skills.
The priority for the University’s Career Development Department is to support young people at all stages of their career growth. For this reason, we are actively collaborating with both the private sector and various organizations to strengthen our partnerships and create more opportunities for students to gain practical experience and enhance their employment prospects. We believe that such meetings play a vital role in shaping students’ professional orientation. This commitment drives us to continue our efforts, helping young people plan their career paths and secure a successful future while they are still studying.
– Associate Professor Nato Katamadze
The students’ meeting with “Nikora Trade” representatives was held in an interactive format, allowing young people to engage in a discussion and ask questions on topics of interest to them. The company’s representatives provided them with comprehensive answers and also shared their practical experience.
