“Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Educational Process” – Training for Public School Teachers

The Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems of the Georgian Technical University has successfully completed the training program “Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Educational Process.”

Notably, twenty teachers participated in the training, which was organized as part of the memorandum of understanding between the university and Bolnisi Public School No. 1.

According to the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems at GTU, such training programs are particularly important for developing digital competencies in the modern educational environment. As Professor Taliko Zhvania noted, the use of artificial intelligence tools significantly simplifies the teaching and learning process, enhances lesson effectiveness, and enables teachers to implement more innovative and student-centered teaching methods.

“The training participants gained hands-on experience with various AI platforms and learned about their potential applications in preparing educational materials, improving assessment systems, and implementing interactive teaching methods. Special attention was also given to practical examples demonstrating how artificial intelligence can simplify the teaching process and support approaches tailored to individual learning needs.

Participants explored ways to integrate AI tools across various subject areas, discussed how these tools help teachers optimize their time, and examined how they enhance student engagement and motivation by enabling the creation of interactive and diverse learning materials. Particular emphasis was also placed on protecting academic integrity and ensuring the ethical use of technology, which is considered one of the most significant challenges in the modern education system.”
