“The delegation members familiarized themselves with the university’s structure, educational programs, faculty activities, and research areas, allowing them to learn about the university’s academic and research work and share professional interests.

I want to emphasize that the delegation members represent various professional sectors in Japan, including engineering, industry, technology, infrastructure, consulting, and international cooperation. Their activities include industrial manufacturing and engineering project management, as well as developing technological solutions and participating in international development projects.

Riken Kogyo Co., Ltd., led by delegation member Yukihiro Shibao, specializes in designing, manufacturing, and selling protective barriers against snow, wind, and sand. The company focuses on improving the safety and reliability of transport infrastructure, particularly in regions with harsh climates. This work is crucial for preventing infrastructure-related issues caused by blizzards, snow accumulation, and strong winds.

HAGIHARA INDUSTRIES INC., represented in the delegation, operates in industrial manufacturing and technology. In contrast, KOKEN ENGINEERING Co., Ltd., SPEC CORPORATION JAPAN, Tokai-Denshi Inc., and JGC HOLDINGS CORPORATION represent various engineering, technological, and business sectors.
