9 ივნისს, თბილისში, საკვალიფიკაციო შეჯიბრი მკლავჭიდში – GEORGIAN ARMWRESTLING GAMES (GAG) გაიმართება, რომელსაც საქართველოს ტექნიკური უნივერსიტეტი უმასპინძლებს.
შეჯიბრში მონაწილეობა შეუძლია ნებისმიერ მკლავჭიდელს, მათ შორის სტუდენტებს.
მსოფლიოში მკლავჭიდის ერთ-ერთ ყველაზე პოპულარულ ორგანიზაცია- EAST VS WEST-თან გაფორმებული ხელშეკრულების ფარგლებში მიღებული ექსკლუზიური უფლების თანახმად, GEORGIAN ARMWRESTLING GAMES-ში გამარჯვებულ ათლეტებს გადაეცემათ ლიცენზია, რითაც ისინი თურქეთში დაგეგმილ საერთაშორისო ტურნირში – EAST VS WEST FINAL QUALIFY , მიიღებენ მონაწილეობის უფლებას.
GEORGIAN ARMWRESTLING GAMES, სტუ-ის ადმინისტრაციული შენობის (მისამართი: მერაბ კოსტავას 77) მე-3 სართულზე, ივანე ჯავახიშვილის დიდ დარბაზში, 12:00 საათიდან დაიწყება. მანამდე კი, 8 ივნისს (10:00-დან 15:00 საათამდე) მონაწილეთა აწონვა ჩატარდება.
GEORGIAN ARMWRESTLING GAMES შემდეგ წონით კატეგორიებში ჩატარდება:
• 75 კგ (მარცხენა /მარჯვენა)
• 85 კგ (მარცხენა /მარჯვენა)
• 95 კგ (მარცხენა /მარჯვენა)
• 105 კგ (მარცხენა /მარჯვენა)
• 105 +კგ (მარცხენა /მარჯვენა)
GEORGIAN ARMWRESTLING GAMES -ში მონაწილეობას მიიღებს 200-მდე ათლეტი, მათ შორის 30-მდე უცხოელი სპორტსმენი. შეჯიბრს სპეციალური სტუმრის სტატუსით ცნობილი ქართველი სპორტსმენები, უცხოელი პარტნიორები და ბიზნესსექტორის წარმომადგენლები დაესწრებიან.
