The Professor Vidas Kavaliauskas Lithuanian Language and Culture Center Offers Lithuanian Language Courses to Students

The Professor Vidas Kavaliauskas Lithuanian Language and Culture Center, at Georgian Technical University, invites GTU students to study Lithuanian.

The Lithuanian language and culture courses are free for students and will be held twice a week – on Mondays and Wednesdays – in the evening. The exact schedule will be finalized following a meeting with the students.

The Center offers several free projects for students:

• Semester-long Lithuanian language courses at Lithuanian universities (with a scholarship);
• One-month winter and summer Lithuanian language courses (with a scholarship);
• Various educational programs in the Republic of Lithuania.

GTU students who complete their bachelor’s program and study the Lithuanian language will have the opportunity to continue their studies in master’s programs at Lithuanian universities free of charge, funded by the Republic of Lithuania.

During their master’s studies, students will also receive a state scholarship from the Republic of Lithuania.

The center is currently forming a new group for students who want to learn Lithuanian, and students from any year of study are eligible to join.
