სრულიად საქართველოს კათოლიკოს-პატრიარქი, უწმინდესი და უნეტარესი ილია მეორე, საქართველოს ტექნიკური უნივერსიტეტის რექტორს, აკადემიკოს დავით გურგენიძეს 60 წლის იუბილეს ულოცავს.
„ ბატონო დავით,
გულითადად გილოცავთ დაბადების 60 წლისთავს. თქვენ ბრძანდებით საქართველოს ერთ-ერთი მრავალრიცხოვანი და წამყვანი უმაღლესი სასწავლებლის რექტორი, რაც დიდ პატივთან ერთად დიდი პასუხისმგებლობაცაა, რადგან ჩვენი მომავალი თაობის სერიოზული ნაწილის ხვალინდელი დღე თქვენს სივრცეში ყალიბდება. ეს მეტად რთული და საინტერესო პროცესი კი, უდიდეს ძალისხმევას ითხოვს, მითუმეტეს ჩვენს რთულსა და სწრაფად ცვალებად დროში.
ღმერთმა დაგლოცოთ, გაგაძლიეროთ და მოგცეთ უნარი ამ ჯვრის ღირსეულად მტვირთველობისათვის, რაც, განათლებასთან ერთად, ახალგაზრდებში სულიერი ღირებულებების განმტკიცებას გულისხმობს.
