GTU Student Participated in the Startup Grind Global Conference in Silicon Valley, California
Giorgi Bokhochadze, a student of the English-language master’s program “Computer Modeling Technologies for Nuclear Research Experiments” at the Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems of Georgian Technical University, participated in the Startup Grind Global Conference held in Silicon Valley, California.
The conference brought together startup founders, investors, technology company representatives, researchers, and innovation leaders from around the world. As one of the largest international startup events, Startup Grind provides participants with opportunities to explore emerging technological trends, build professional networks, and present their ideas within the global innovation ecosystem.
According to Professor Taliko Zhvania, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems, Giorgi Bokhochadze took part in thematic panel discussions, meetings, and networking events focused on artificial intelligence, startup development, innovative technologies, and entrepreneurship.
Professor Zhvania noted that participation in the conference enabled the GTU master’s student to gain valuable international experience, establish professional connections with innovators from different countries, and showcase the educational and research potential of both Georgia and Georgian Technical University.

According to Giorgi Bokhochadze, he earned the opportunity to attend the Startup Grind Global Conference after winning the Startup Grind Pitch Battle Royale: Georgia, held in Tbilisi. He explained that the competition enables young entrepreneurs and innovators to present their ideas to experts and investors, receive professional feedback, and join the international startup ecosystem. Winning the national competition earned him an invitation to the global conference, where he met startup founders, investors, technology company representatives, and innovation leaders from around the world.
According to Giorgi Bokhochadze, participating in the conference was an invaluable experience that allowed him to learn about the latest technological trends, expand his professional network, and exchange ideas with members of the international innovation community.
