GTU expresses condolences to the families of those who died in a car accident near Didgori, including graduates Natia Janadze and Sandro Chkheidze
On behalf of the university community, Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Academician David Gurgenidze, expresses deep sorrow over the terrible car accident near Didgori, which claimed the lives of five young people.
As noted in the condolence letter, the tragic incident brought the most severe pain and irreparable loss to the families, relatives, and friends of the deceased.
“Among the deceased are Natia Janadze, a graduate of the Georgian Technical University, and her husband Sandro Chkheidze, the nephew of Giorgi Chkheidze, Deputy Director of the Georgian Technical University’s partner organization, RMG. The tragic and premature loss of young lives is a great pain for the university, our partner organization, and society as a whole.
On behalf of the Georgian Technical University, we express our sympathy and condolences to the families, relatives, and friends of Natia Janadze, Sandro Chkheidze, and all the young people who died in the accident. We share their pain and wish them strength and endurance in these difficult times.”
