Faculty of Power Engineering Students Meet with “Sakkabel” Representatives
Students from the Faculty of Power Engineering at the Georgian Technical University met with David Kapanadze, Managing Director of the company “Sakkabel”, as well as marketing specialists Natia Samkharadze and Barbara Jananashvili.
The meeting, organized by the GTU Career Development Department of Academic Process Management Service, was opened by Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering, Professor Ketevan Kutateladze.
As the Dean noted, such meetings play a crucial role in the process of students’ professional development, gaining practical experience, and connecting with the private sector. According to her, cooperation between the university and industry is particularly important for a better understanding of employment prospects and the real working environment in the energy sector.

It is precisely such meetings that strengthen the connection between the university and business and give students a real idea of their future profession.”

According to the head of the GTU Career Development Department of Academic Process Management Service, during the meeting, students received information about the activities of the company “Sakkabeli”, modern challenges of the energy industry, and current market demands. According to Associate Professor Nato Katamadze, a discussion was held during the meeting, during which students asked questions and received comprehensive answers from company representatives.

Such meetings not only deepen knowledge but also contribute to the formation of professional orientation. Active cooperation with the private sector helps students better see their own capabilities and future career development paths.”
