The Cycle of Meetings With International Students at GTU Began With the Faculty of Law and International Relations
A planned joint meeting was held at the Georgian Technical University with first-year international students enrolled in the Faculty of Law and International Relations in the 2025/2026 academic year, the aim of which was to ensure their smooth integration into academic life, adapt to the university’s academic environment, educational programs and educational and research procedures, as well as obtain detailed information about the quality of access to administrative services.
The event was opened by the Coordinator of International Student Recruitment and their Integration into the Academic and Public Life of the GTU ‘s International Relations Department. Lela Chikovani provided the students with additional information about the faculty’s educational, practical, and laboratory opportunities, as well as current international projects and research infrastructure.

“It is important for us to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment for each international student. Georgian Technical University offers education grounded in high academic standards, a diverse campus environment, and perspectives that will contribute to your future professional development. I am sure that here you will gain knowledge and experience that will create a solid foundation for career success,” said Lela Chikovani.
The meeting was held in an interactive format, and students asked Lela Chikovani additional questions about the study schedule, administrative procedures, and various student services.
The event ended with a short tour of the faculty spaces. The students visited the laboratories, faculty library, and student infrastructure, which will allow them to better understand the academic and technical capabilities of the Georgian Technical University.
For information, the Georgian Technical University continues the series of international student meetings at other faculties as well, so that each student can feel maximum support from the university during the adaptation process.
