Georgian Technical University Hosts International Scientific Delegation


To expand cooperation, an international scientific delegation from leading universities and scientific institutes across Europe visited Georgian Technical University.

Academician David Gurgenidze, Rector of Georgian Technical University, held a working meeting with the delegation members. The parties discussed prospects for developing modern physics and related scientific-technological fields in Georgia.

According to David Gurgenidze, strengthening international scientific cooperation is one of the Georgian Technical University’s priority areas. As the Rector noted, the university is implementing several significant initiatives to deepen partnerships with international research centers, increasing opportunities for Georgian students and researchers to participate in international scientific projects.

As part of the visit, members of the international scientific delegation conducted a series of seminars and a workshop at the Georgian Technical University. The discussions covered significant topics such as the latest scientific achievements in modern physics, neutrino physics, medical physics, and cyclotron technologies, as well as current research issues and prospects.
