UNI4VERSE FINEDU Information Session at GTU

GITA’s university competition gives students the chance to create innovative prototypes in financial education and technology and to travel to Web Summit.

An information session for the university competition “UNI4VERSE FINEDU” was held at the Georgian Technical University, organized by the Innovation and Technology Agency of Georgia (GITA) and FinEdu. Avto Tavdishvili (UNI4VERSE Project Coordinator), Zura Kakhidze (Co-founder and Mentor at Startup Ranko), and Tamta Shvangiradze (Representative of the National Bank) briefed students on the project details.

The meeting emphasized the importance of student involvement in addressing real-world financial challenges through artificial intelligence and modern IT tools.

The competition covers key areas such as integrating financial services, long-term planning, financial security, daily expense management, and small business cash flow analysis. This year’s grand prize is particularly significant: the winning team will receive full funding to attend the global technology conference Web Summit, and the prize pool includes a 20,000 GEL grant.

The bachelor’s and master’s students from any faculty, aged 17 and older, are eligible to participate. Registration is team-based (2-4 students + 1 mentor), and the best team – selected through an internal university competition – will compete in the final representing the university.
