GTU scientists group participated in the IV International Conference on Business Research and Management


A group of scientists from the Georgian Technical University participated in the IV International Scientific Conference on Business Research and Management – ​​“BRM – AI Era: Innovations, Critical Factors and Challenges”.

The conference, which was held at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain, was attended by researchers from leading universities in Georgia, Italy, Finland, Spain, Germany, and Albania. The Georgian Technical University was represented at the scientific event by Chancellor – Professor Carlo Kopaliani, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Business Technologies Nino Kavtaradze, and Assistant Professor Nino Omanadze.

The GTU Chancellor noted that the conference addressed key challenges, emerging trends, and new opportunities for employing innovative approaches in business and management amid the era of artificial intelligence. Professor Carlo Kopaliani highlighted that representative from the Georgian Technical University presented a report titled “Return on Investment in Georgian Private Universities – Challenges and Future Prospects.”

The Chancellor emphasized that the presentation sparked significant interest among participants and led to a dynamic, interactive discussion. The conference participants discussed the challenges in the Georgian educational space, the future opportunities for the development of private universities, and the importance of sharing international experience.

“Participation in the BRM International Conference allows us to collaborate with scientists from leading European universities, exchange knowledge and experience, learn about the latest research trends, and present the vision of the Georgian Technical University on the challenges associated with the use of AI in business processes. It is especially important that the issues discussed at the conference, including the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market, automation of managerial decisions, and data security issues, are directly related to the sustainable development of the modern economy. That is why such international platforms contribute to both the deepening of academic research and the improvement of practical solutions. The Georgian Technical University will continue to engage in international scientific cooperation and promote the development of innovative research aimed at enhancing technological progress and economic efficiency.”

During the visit, the Head of the Administration of the Georgian Technical University, Professor Carlo Kopaliani, met with the Vice-Rector of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Professor José Pedro Garcia Sabater. The parties discussed the issues of concluding an Erasmus+ interdepartmental agreement and the possibilities of cooperation between the universities within the framework of the European Union’s research and innovation framework program Horizon Europe.

In addition, researchers from the Faculty of Business Technologies at the Georgian Technical University met with the academic staff of the Faculty of Business Administration and Management of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, discussed with them the prospects of sharing experience and deepening academic cooperation, and held public lectures for students.
