Awarding of the Klaus Hipp Competition’s Winners at GTU

On April 21, the GTU Office of Technologies and Grant Projects met with Klaus Hipp, a German entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the university’s honorary doctor.

As part of the event, organizers summarized the results of the student competition and identified the authors of the best projects.

By Klaus Hipp’s decision, the prize winners and – Elene Iobashvili, a student of the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Design, and Tamar Otinashvili, a student of the Faculty of Business Technologies, were awarded.

During the meeting, Klaus Hipp shared another important piece of news with the students – he announced a new competition that will allow students to turn their innovative ideas into real projects. Detailed information about the terms and registration of the new competition will be announced in the near future.

It is worth noting that Klaus Hipp has been actively supporting the creative and professional development of students at the Georgian Technical University for several years. The projects held under his patronage aim to increase motivation and stimulate practical skills among the youth.

In addition, such international partnerships and the opportunity for students to do professional practice in Germany significantly contribute to the university’s internationalization process and the integration of the Georgian educational space with European standards.
