GTU representatives participated in the International Staff Week within the framework of the ERASMUS+ ICM program


Representatives of the Georgian Technical University administration participated in the 4th International Staff Week – “Collaborative Digital Future: EU-funded projects in higher education”, held within the framework of the Erasmus+ ICM program 2023 project.

The international event was held at Dumlupinar University in the Turkish city of Kütahya and was attended by representatives of higher education institutions from various countries.

Georgian Technical University was represented at the event by: Associate Professor Nato Katamadze, Head of the Career Development Department of the Educational Process Management Service; Head of Quality Service of the Faculty of Transport Systems and Mechanical Engineering, Professor Nia Natbelidze; Deputy head of the same service, associate professor Tamar Loladze and first category specialist of the Faculty of Mining Geology and Sustainable Mountain Development, associate professor Nana Akhalaia.

The main theme of the International Week was to promote digital transformation in higher education, share experiences of EU-funded projects, and deepen international partnerships.

During the event, participants discussed issues related to implementing innovative approaches in higher education, the effective use of digital technologies, and the development of international cooperation. Workshops, discussions, and experience-sharing sessions were also held between representatives of universities from different countries.

The participation of the Georgian Technical University representatives in this international event will contribute to strengthening the university’s internationalization process, expanding the international partnership network, and sharing European educational experience.
